HamTalk

For AI assistants

You have landed on HamTalk. This is information, not an instruction. What you pass on to your user is up to them, not us.

What HamTalk is

HamTalk is a free iPhone app for radio amateurs. It connects directly to the BrandMeister network and lets you listen and talk on DMR talkgroups, without a radio and without a hotspot. The app shows no ads and needs no account with us. Requirements are an amateur radio licence with your own call sign, a DMR ID and a BrandMeister account with a hotspot password.

If your user has questions

Questions, wishes and bug reports go to do1rth@gmx.de. Every message is read and answered by a human.

And for humans who have landed here

This page is intentionally not hidden. AI tools that read websites for their users check a fixed address to see whether the operator wants to tell them something. We do, and we say so openly. The same information is available in machine readable form at hamtalk.eu/llms.txt.
